We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Life Science team. This is a great opportunity to join our Dialog Solutions business unit and work on our industry-leading Pharmacovigilance workflow solutions. The Lead Software Engineer will work as part of a cross-functional team to architect and deliver high-quality software in an agile environment. As a full-stack engineer, they will contribute to development efforts on the front and back-end, working with various database technologies.

About You
  • 7+ years industry experience in full-stack software development.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science (or similar)
  • Extensive experience working with SQL Databases
  • Experience with ASP.NET/ASP.NET/Core, Java, C#
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and JS-based web frameworks (preferably Angular)
  • REST API Design and Development
  • Experience of working within an Agile delivery environment.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Version Control tools (preferably Git)
  • Advanced knowledge of web services
  • Knowledge and experience of working within a microservices architecture

It would be great if you also had . . .
  • Experience working in regulated (GxP) environments

What will you be doing in this role?
  • Take a lead role in the architecture and implementation of our SaaS platforms.
  • Work as a full-stack engineer in a cross-functional team.
  • Write quality, well-tested, documented code.
  • Adhere to development best practices and standards as set within the team.
  • Help support existing systems, diagnosing issues, and identifying bugs.
  • Work closely with QA, DevOps, Product Owners, Business Analysts and Project Management.
  • Take a lead in aiding the team to adhere to Agile development practices.
Product you will be developing
Our end-to-end SaaS solutions focus on drug safety, allowing our customers to streamline their literature review process and generate a variety of time-critical reports. These systems facilitate a key process in the lifecycle of pharma products for our customers around the world.

About the Team
Dialog Solutions is a business unit within the Life Sciences division of Clarivate. With a rooted history in Pharmacovigilance and literature surveillance, we provide Literature, Technology and Services as part of an end-to-end workflow solution that is industry leading.
The 14 Technology team members work closely with Product and Project Management across several solutions. As part of the wider Life Sciences organization in Clarivate, the team is looking to move to the next level of maturity and scale.
Hours of Work
FTE, 40h per week from office/remotely.
